Terms of Service
Last updated July 10, 2026
Heardis an independently run feedback-board service. Using it means agreeing to these terms. They're written to be read, not skimmed past; the whole thing takes two minutes.
The service
Heard gives you public feedback boards for your products: your users post ideas, vote, and see statuses; you triage from an admin and embed a widget on your site. Free accounts currently get up to 3boards. Limits and plans can change as the product matures; if they do, you get clear notice first and your data stays exportable (there's a CSV export in the admin today).
Your account
Sign-in is by email magic link. Anyone with access to your inbox can access your account, so keep your inbox secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account and on your boards.
Acceptable use
- No illegal content, harassment, or hate on boards you run or post to.
- No spam, vote manipulation, or automated flooding.
- No malware, phishing links, or impersonation.
Content or boards that break these rules can be hidden or removed, and repeat abuse can get an account suspended. Board owners are expected to moderate what their boards collect; the hide and delete tools exist for exactly that.
Your content
You own what you post. By posting it you give Heard the license needed to host and display it on the board it was posted to. Board owners may moderate (hide or delete) posts on their own boards.
Availability and warranty
Heardis provided as is, without warranties. It's a small, carefully run service, but there's no uptime guarantee and features may change or be discontinued. Material changes get announced ahead of time.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heard's liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the last 12 months, which for free accounts is zero.
Ending things
You can delete your boards, and everything on them, from the admin at any time. Want your whole account gone? Use the contact on the privacy page and it will be handled.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the date above changes and the change gets announced. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
